First Day at Infosys Mysore Campus

I still remember 25th December 2017 when I started my new journey to Infosys Mysore Campus. I took the first flight of my life from Delhi to Bangalore, I reached Bangalore Airport. From Bangalore Airport I took the train which took us to Mysore Railway station after 3 hours of journey. And then finally we took Auto from Mysore Railway Station to the heaven “Infosys Mysore Campus”. There are some days in everyone’s life which he/she cannot forget, and it was time to capture one more day.

I cannot explain my feelings here when I first saw the campus, it was like ‘Do these places exist in real’. I was mesmerized with the first look of the campus. Infosys Mysore Campus is itself a mini City. As usual, I reached late, so I got the ECC no. 85, 5th Floor. I took the room key and temporary ID Card and Finally reached my room.

When I entered the room it was like I have booked a 5-star Hotel room. For a middle-class guy like me, it was dream come true, I never thought of it. Some of the things that you don’t think about will happen to you and they are the best things in life. Firstly, you will get, Bed, chair, restroom, big mirror, cupboard, safe locker, watch, LCD TV, fan, AC. Few more things like study table, drawer, headlamp, good knight, Telephone for calling room services and emergencies, dustbin, etc.

After such a hectic day it was time to rest. In the evening we did all the official paper works like service agreement verification etc. We enjoyed the cycle ride there. In the huge campus of Infosys, if you cannot ride a cycle, you got to walk the miles. While riding we saw the multiplex, food court, swimming pool, etc.

After all the activities on the first day itself, it was time for dinner. You will find almost 8-10 food courts. As “Oasis” Food court was near to our hostel room so we had our dinner there. Except that you will find other food courts as well Fiesta Food Court, Magna Food Court, Arena Food Court, Enroute Food Court, Maitri Food Court, Multiplex Food Court, Gazeebo Food Court, Floating Restaurant, etc.

Everything was Amazing, We enjoyed our first day at Infosys Mysore campus. In the end, I just want to say
“The time you will be spending at Infosys Mysore will surely be one of the best times of your life. I can vouch for that!”
